The Victorian Government has introduced exciting updates to energy efficiency rebates in the new financial year, creating huge opportunities for homeowners to save money, cut energy bills, and reduce their carbon footprint. Battery Rebates – Store More, Save More
As part of the Solar Homes Program, eligible Victorian households can now access up to $2,950* in rebates for installing a solar battery system. This makes solar and battery bundles more affordable than ever—allowing you to store excess solar energy during the day and use it when energy prices peak.
Good news: Even if you received a solar panel rebate previously, you may still be eligible for the new battery rebate.

Hot Water Heat Pump Rebates – New Upgrades, Same Low Cost
From July 1st, 2025, VEU (Victorian Energy Upgrades) rebates for hot water heat pumps remain as high as $1,400*, depending on your eligibility and the brand/model of the unit installed. These systems can be up to 4x more efficient than electric storage systems, slashing your hot water costs.
